In case you haven’t heard of the show, it’s a drama/comedy that aired on television from 1998 to 2006 about a group of teens living in Wisconsin during the 70s. They spend most of their time hanging out at Eric’s (one of the boys in the group) house and often look to Eric’s parents for parental advice.
This isn’t a show for young children, or tweens, due to the fact that the teens spend some of their time hanging out in the basement smoking pot to destress, or hosting beer parties. That being said, there isn’t any violence or cursing in the show, that I can recall.
When we first began watching the show, I wasn’t impressed but the more I watched it with the boys, the more it grew on me.
In this holiday season, we get to see the teens celebrate Thanksgiving, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, and several Christmases.
While I would’ve preferred that the DVD only showcase the Christmas episodes, from each season, I can’t complain… the episodes were true to the series, the commercials were removed for easy viewing, and you don’t have to go through the ending credits for each episode.
